Ok, for at least two months now, I've been loosing an massive amount of hard drive space, about 200 GB has been lost so far. At first I thought I had an virus, but after several scans, none thing. I've tried deleting files that I don't use, but it's only a temporarily fix. So after doing some research, I've found the cause of it, system volume information. From what I can gather, system volume information creates restore points, files that you can use to restore your computer to an earlier state, and a few other things. But here's the thing, I never turned on restore points. I have no idea why it's just suddenly taking a lot of space or how it started, but I'm gonna do what ever it takes to stop it, and get my 200 GB back.
